Batman Returns is een Amerikaanse film uit 1992. Het is de tweede film in een cyclus van vier Batmanfilms, het eerste vervolg op Batman uit 1989. Het is de tweede en laatste Batmanfilm die werd geregisseerd door Tim Burton en met Michael Keaton in de titelrol.
In deze film krijgt Batman te maken met twee andere personages uit de originele stripreeks: Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer) en The Penguin (Danny DeVito). Andere belangrijke rollen worden gespeeld door onder andere Christopher Walken, Michael Gough, Paul Reubens, Vincent Schiavelli en Pat Hingle als commissaris James Gordon.
Batman Returns is a 1992 American superhero film, directed and produced by Tim Burton, based upon the Batman character appearing in comics published by DC Comics. It is the second installment of Warner Bros.' initial Batman film series, with Michael Keaton reprising the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film introduces the characters of Max Shreck (Christopher Walken), a business tycoon who teams up with the Penguin (Danny DeVito) to take over Gotham City, as well as the character of Catwoman (Michelle Pfeiffer).
Batman : Le Défi ou Le Retour de Batman au Québec (Batman Returns) est un film américano-britannique de Tim Burton, sorti en 1992. C'est la suite de Batman, sorti en 1989, basé sur le personnage de DC Comics.
