De televisiereeks 'Kabouter Plop' wordt geregisseerd door Bart Van Leemputten en bestaat uit korte filmpjes van ongeveer vijf minuten. De filmpjes spelen zich meestal af in Plops melkherberg (paddenstoel), waar plopmelk en plopkoeken te krijgen zijn, of in het kabouterbos. Vaak ontrolt het verhaaltje zich na een grap van de ondeugende Klus.
Kabouter Plop (Plop the gnome) is the eponymous protagonist in a children's television series by Studio 100.
The television series is directed by Bart Van Leemputten. Most episodes last about five minutes and are set in Plop's milk inn (which is a toadstool in which he sells plopmilk and plopcookies) or in Gnome forest. The stories often involve pranks by naughty Kabouter Klus ("Chore"). Each episode starts with Plop lying in bed and reviewing what happened the past day. At the end of the episode he says he goes to "Gnome dream land". Most episodes contain a moral.
Kabouter Plop (Lutin Plop) est le personnage central éponyme d'une série télévisée pour enfants en Belgique néerlandophone depuis 1997.
Il est également l'objet de quatre parcs à thème, dont Plopsaland De Panne (anciennement Meli Park) et Plopsa Coo (Cascade de Coo).
Le 17 février 2007, la série Le lutin Plop fait son apparition en Belgique francophone. Les personnages principaux sont le lutin Plop, Le lutin Dordebou, le lutin Bric et Pipolette.
